*MAP AND DIRECTIONS*

Stay Beautiful's venue, STICKY MIKE'S FROG BAR, is at 9-12 Middle St, about ten minutes' walk from Brighton station. Come straight out of the front of the station, walk straight down Queens Rd towards the sea (passing the clock tower and continuing onwards along West St), turn left when you reach the seafront, then the first left again. Alternatively, there's a taxi rank in front of the station.

*TRAVEL*
Trains directly to Brighton run frequently from London Victoria, London St Pancras International and London Bridge, taking roughly an hour. The first train back to London after we close at 3am is the 0350 to London Victoria. There are also direct National Express coaches from London Victoria to Brighton's Pool Valley station (just a few yards along the seafront from Middle Street itself), taking roughly two hours. The first coach back to London after we close at 3am is the 0400 (changing at Gatwick Airport).

*TAXIS*
If you need a taxi afterwards, there's a rank on nearby East St. Alternatively, a good local minicab number is 01273 204060.

*HOTELS*
If you’re feeling extravagant, the big, posh hotels on the seafront (Kings Rd) are The Grand of Quadrophenia and IRA fame (http://www.grandbrighton.co.uk 0845 375 2808), and Hilton Metropole (http://www.hilton.co.uk/brightonmet 01273 775432). Other large seafront hotels include the Ramada (http://www.ramadajarvis.co.uk/hotels/brighton.aspx 0844 815 9061), Holiday Inn (http://www.hibrighton.com 01273 828250), Royal Albion (http://www.royal-albion-hotel.co.uk 0871 781 7666) and Queens Hotel (http://www.queenshotelbrighton.com 0800 9707570) and Thistle (http://www.thistle.com/hotels/brighton 0871 376 9041). The coolest, though, is Hotel Pelirocco (http://hotelpelirocco.co.uk 01273 327055) which has a different pop culture theme to every room (Bettie Page, Leigh Bowery, Sex Pistols etc).

Then there are medium-range hotels like the Best Western Brighton Hotel (http://www.bestwestern.co.uk/brighton+hotel 01273 820555), Kings Hotel (http://www.kingshotelbrighton.com 01273 820854), West Beach (http://www.westbeachhotel.co.uk 01273 323161), Granville (http://www.granvillehotel.co.uk 01273 326302), Ambassador (http://www.ambassadorbrighton.co.uk 01273 676869) and Old Ship Inn (http://www.barceló.com 01273 329001). Just off the seafront there’s a Travelodge (http://www.travelodge.co.uk 0871 984 6405), a Premier Inn (http://www.premierinn.com 0870 990 6340) a little further inland, and a Jury’s behind the station (http://brightonhotels.jurysinns.com 01273 862121). In addition, Brighton has hundreds of guest houses and B&Bs, for example The Iron Duke (http://www.irondukebrighton.co.uk 01273 734806), Lichfield House (http://www.fieldhousehotels.co.uk/lichfield 01273 777740) and Cross Street Guest House (http://www.crossstreetguesthousebrighton.co.uk 01273 770633). If you want to shop around, visit http://www.yell.co.uk and enter postcode BN1.

Lastly, if you’re on a really tight budget, there are backpacker hostels like the St Christopher’s (http://www.st-christophers.co.uk/brighton-hostels 01273 202035) and Grapevine (http://grapevinewebsite.co.uk 01273 777717). Oh, and we know of at least one person who went on Last Minute (http://www.lastminute.com) and tried the ‘Top Secret Hotels’ offer, and ended up being given a room in the Hilton… so that’s worth a try!
